Prince O is making a major career move with the announcement of his first-ever exclusive concert release, coming soon to Apple Music. Produced and distributed by Provocateur Sound Music Group and proudly sponsored by Drinkdye Infused Seltzer, the event marks a new chapter for the Long Island artist as he follows in the footsteps of his contemporaries — artists like Gunna, Future, and Offset — who have brought their live energy to global platforms.
Backed by a dynamic live band, the performance brings a raw, cinematic energy that captures Prince O at his most commanding. The lineup features Justen “Blaze” Taylor on keys, Darnell Jordan on bass, Tajman Ball on drums, and Alex Vine on lead guitar — each adding their own layer of soul, precision, and power to the set. Together, they bring the emotion and electricity that define the Prince O sound.
Prince O uses the church not as a symbol of peace, but as a backdrop to highlight his disbelief in Christianity—a disbelief rooted in the injustices and evils he sees allowed to happen in the world. In his own way, he’s asking: How can a God who’s supposed to love His children stay silent in the face of their suffering?
HavPlenty isn’t just a visual experience—it’s a sonic one too. Featuring Ayo Fazo, the track kicks off with Fazo’s verse before Prince O steps in with his trademark lyrical depth. The contrast works beautifully: Fazo sets the rhythm, while Prince O delivers the existential weight.
The production has all the right ingredients of a standout rap record—sharp bars, infectious rhythm, and a chorus that lingers in your head. But paired with the video, it transforms into something much bigger: a message about survival, questioning authority, and refusing to stay silent.
“The venue itself is one of my favorite places to perform in the city of Rochester,” said Prince O. “Tom and his crew are great and are always accommodating. I encourage any artist to book the space for any event you may have.”
The atmosphere was electric—good food, strong drinks, and a community of creatives came together to make it a night to remember. Even the audience was star-studded: Que from Day26 pulled up with his family, and renowned choreographer Asonte Harris was also spotted in the crowd, soaking up the vibes.
In his own words, Prince O shared the deep emotions surrounding this special day:
"I’m deeply grateful to have spent my birthday doing what I love, surrounded by the people I love. For years, celebrating was a challenge after losing my mother on my 9th birthday. It wasn’t until I felt I had done enough to make her proud that I could truly honor my own life. Though hers was cut short, I’ve finally found peace in celebrating what she gave me. I’m so thankful for everyone who reached out with calls, texts, and kind words—they mean more to me than words can express."
The Inspiration Behind Remember Me
In between the night’s festivities, Finesse opened up about the inspiration behind the album, offering fans a glimpse into his personal journey. “The inspiration behind Remember Me was interesting,” he shared. “Basically, don’t forget that I’m out here working. And if at any time I were to pass, I want my music to live on.”
The album is deeply personal, with one song dedicated to Finesse’s late sister, whose memory shaped the project’s emotional depth. “I went missing for a year after the last show, so me coming back was like, ‘Hey, remember me?’” he said, reflecting on his hiatus and triumphant return.
The original version of "Honey-Sweety" featured a different collaborator but was ultimately reimagined for this release. Prince O made the bold decision to remove the original collaborator entirely, stating, "I’m tired of showing folks what I can do, what they gon’ do for me?" as he echoes the sentiment of rapper Lil Baby. This new version, crafted with Ti-Lar Bee, serves as a superior evolution of the song, showcasing Prince O’s vision and artistic growth. Initially, the song was created to support another artist’s discography, but this updated rendition firmly places the spotlight back on Prince O’s undeniable talent.
