Finesse Richardson Shines at “Remember Me” Release Party, Performs Covers to Celebrate Sophomore Album

This past weekend, the Western New York music scene lit up as Finesse Richardson hosted the release party for his powerful new album, Remember Me. The night brought together fans, artists, and industry insiders for an unforgettable celebration. Finesse took the stage to perform a few select covers, captivating the audience with his signature style and dynamic presence.

Among those in attendance was rising star Prince O, who collaborated with Finesse on one of the album’s standout tracks “Push & Pull.” The energy in the room was electric as attendees celebrated the return of Finesse to the music scene and the impact of his latest project.

The Inspiration Behind Remember Me

In between the night’s festivities, Finesse opened up about the inspiration behind the album, offering fans a glimpse into his personal journey. “The inspiration behind Remember Me was interesting,” he shared. “Basically, don’t forget that I’m out here working. And if at any time I were to pass, I want my music to live on.”

The album is deeply personal, with one song dedicated to Finesse’s late sister, whose memory shaped the project’s emotional depth. “I went missing for a year after the last show, so me coming back was like, ‘Hey, remember me?’” he said, reflecting on his hiatus and triumphant return.

Standout Tracks from Remember Me

While the album is packed with gems, fans have already gravitated toward several standout tracks. “Push & Pull,” featuring Prince O, is a fan favorite, blending sharp lyricism and heartfelt afro melodies. Other must-listen tracks include “Check My Resume,” “Take Your Time,” and “Girlfriend,” all of which highlight Finesse’s artistry and versatility.

“These are some of my favorite songs on the project,” Finesse noted. “Each one has a purpose, and I hope people feel the work I put into them.”

What’s Next for Finesse Richardson?

Looking ahead, Finesse has big plans that extend beyond his own music. “What’s next is putting shows together for other talent to get heard,” he revealed. “I want to go city to city, state to state, building a community of artists that need to be heard.”
